On 29 May, we reached Acadia National Park. We had an excellent BBQ lunch at the Atlantic Brewing Company. Checked in to Acadia Cottages. Went for a walk at the seashore. And had a truly fabulous dinner at Sips.

The next day, we had breakfast at Grumpy's. The we went for a great bikeride on the carriage roads that John D. Rockefeller had built on the islands. That evening, we went for a 2-hour sail on the Margaret Todd. The crew consisted of a captain, a mate, and four young women. They actually sailed the ship! They did get a little help from the passengers in raising the sails.

The next morning on the way out, we took a little hike. The trail we wanted to take was closed because some peregrins were nesting there. The baby peregrins made a real racket.
